High Life, Low Life week3

Nat, a private investigator, is asked to find a good layer by a rich woman, Mrs. Joanna Whittaker, however, a few days later she dies. Her doctor thinks the reason is heart attack, and not a murder. But Nat wasn’t convinced. He starts searching Martha, a home helper in Mrs. Joanna Whittaker’s house. Finally, he finds that she kills her employer imitating the suspense book that she likes. She is arrested for murder, but she shows no sign of regret. And, she sends a letter that says she is fine in the prison and makes many good friends there.
I think she is crazy. If I wrote a letter for her, I would write that.
Hello, Ms. Martha. I have many questions about you, because I can’t understand your thought and behavior at all. Why do you like the suspense book so much? And, why did you kill Mrs. Joanna Whittaker? Did you hate her? If the motive was only curiosity, you have to be sorry and rehabilitate yourself! I hope that you have regret and spend your life with your friends peacefully.

He is also asked to find her son, Jackie by a homeless woman, Annie Clayton. Nat finds him, and they meet again after twenty years. A few days later, she passes away for her disease. Nat doesn’t think there is a connection between the opposite women, however he found the secret of Annie Clayton. Jackie’s father was the late Mr. Tom Whittaker, Mrs. Joanna Whittaker’s husband. Jackie and Mrs. Whittaker’s son and daughter were very surprised, but instantly felt relaxed. Finally, they decided to use the inheritance from to build a facility for homeless women such as Annie Clayton so that they can live comfortably. If I wrote this book, the ending would not have happy end. If I were a son or daughter of Mrs. Whittaker, I couldn’t accept Jackie who is the son of my father’s lover. A Pair of Ghostly Hands 2

            Hello! Now I’d like to introduce the second story of “A Pair of Ghostly Hands.” The title is “Lost Hearts.” The lead role is a boy, Stephen whose parents passed away six months ago. He is taken in by Mr. Abney, his relation, and moves to Asarby Hall where he lives. One day, the house keeper tells him a rumor that a girl and a boy were kidnaped at the city twenty years ago. And they or their bodies have not been found. Stephen thinks it is just rumor, and doesn’t believe it.   One night, Mr. Abney asks him to come his room at 11 o’ clock; after the housekeepers go home. He goes to the room as he was told by him. And he found a notebook written the name the boy and the girl who was kidnaped.

Matilda week11

Today, I want to write my favorite scene of this story. Matilda, the lead role, is a girl genius; however, her parents don’t think so, rather, they think she is stupid. She likes reading books very much, so she asks them to give a book, but, her father tells it is silly to read books. She gets angry, and decides to pay him back. She puts glues his favorite hat with strong adhesive. He knows nothing about that and puts on the hat. Of course, he can’t take it off. He gets panic! Then, she says to him showing up with an innocent look “what’s the matter, Daddy? Has your head suddenly swollen or something?” I like her character. Her parents are not educational people, rather, child neglect; however, she tries to enjoy her life and never gives up the environment, such as the parents and the nasty principal. If I can be like her, I will make my days more exciting.
